The manuscript was divided in the 17th century, with two parts residing in the Royal Library in The Hague and the third part, thought lost, resurfacing in 1984 and acquired by the J. Paul Getty Museum. This volume reunites the manuscript's sections, featuring color reproductions of all miniatures and historiated initials, along with scholarly essays providing historical context and analysis.
